Regular consumption of beef is associated with risks of several diseases, leading to premature death. Not good for the heart
Beef contains fat, which raises blood cholesterol levels, leading to increased risk of heart disease. High cholesterol levels can lead to a build-up of platelets in the arteries, not good for the heart. Fat levels in red meat are becoming more pronounced because of the way today’s ranchers feed their cattle. Once grass-fed, they are now fed grains and cereals. Today’s cattle are also fed antibiotics and hormones to make them grow faster.
Beef contains a significant amount of iron and preservatives. These elements promote cancer-causing compounds in the digestive system. In excess, this can damage the intestinal tract and lead to diseases like colorectal cancer. Other cancers can also be caused by excessive consumption of red meat such as liver cancer or cancer of the prostate, bladder, stomach and pancreas.
The iron in beef, described as an oxidant, promotes inflammatory diseases and premature aging, especially in men and postmenopausal women.
Another negative aspect of beef is that it is a source of fat storage, thus the war against cellulite for women.
The body originally has its limit of protein to absorb. As beef is full of protein, it will be difficult for the intestines to absorb it. You should also know that beef is rich in chlorine, phosphorus or sulfur. It’s a little difficult to pass all that through the intestine.
Eating beef will cause fatigue, because the body will have to work hard to neutralize the uric acid level that the meat leaves in the body.
